The O Family

It was a long work week but I was very excited for Friday to come around. It was time to travel to my home town, El Paso to visit my family and it was photo session time! After waking up early, packing the car and the family, our journey began to El Paso and trying to make it on time was becoming clearly impossible. For all of you parents, you can empathize with me... trying to entertain a 2 year old and stop for potty breaks every 5 mintues can make a road trip much much longer. We made it into EP and headed straight to the first photo shoot. We were stuck in that crazy El paso traffic the entire time but finally made it. The sun was already setting and it was getting dark very quickly, it was time to get started. We began to shoot but due to the heavy overcast we only had time to get a few shots in. We decided to shoot the next morning and change our location..... The lighting was perfect and made a GREAT day for shooting. ABSOLUTLY LOVE THIS FAMILY (:

Rock the Shot photo contest

So I saw there was one more day to enter my photo in rock the shot photo contest. The theme is lighting. We shot this very early in the morning and the sun happened to be peeking through the buildings in downtown El Paso, Tx. I had a blast with this couple and was happy they were willing to get up so early in the morning to shoot. I currently live in Phoenix, Az and El Paso, Tx is where I come from so I had to make sure to catch the texas street signs in the shot as well. ENJOY!!!!

Little Miss A (El Paso, TX)

I could not wait to blog about another fun session. This session was with Miss A and her daddy from my good ole hometown, El Paso Texas. Miss A was such a doll who reminded me of my daughter. This session was fun because it was a sunny day and all of a sudden just a few rain clouds came and poured right on top of us ... out of now where. The rained stopped just in time for us to shoot. What a beautiful, perfect day. It was also so great to have the chance to catch up with an old friend from high school and capture some wonderful moments with him and his daughter. It was meant to be......

I love this photo. She was mad because she was ready for her ice cream that daddy promised her for taking pretty pictures... but we still had a few more to go.
